Know How to Clean Your Pearl Necklace?

Something I didn't know until a few minutes ago.  I've been telling people who buy our Pearl bracelets and necklaces at Sterling Canyon to clean them with a damp cloth.  Of course, never use household cleaners or soaps, vinegar or red wine.  These will dissolve them in a split second and possibly help dissolve your marriage (good pearls are expensive).   I read that to clean your Pearls including the string, gently agitate them in a bowl of potato flour, then clean off the flour with a soft cloth.   Sounds grounded to me.
With all the benefits the beauty and purity of a pearl can bring to you, it is only right that you should care for them properly.
